Daniel is a Partner and Head of the Business Law Department at Forbes Solicitors. He has a wide range of experience advising businesses of all sizes, local authorities and charities on the full spectrum of business law issues. His particular areas of expertise include contractual matters, intellectual property and IT issues, corporate finance and major ventures and transactions.
Daniel assists clients in managing a range of legal issues affecting businesses such as: formation, ownership and operation of businesses in different structures; business sales, purchases and mergers; commercial contracts (such as supply and distribution terms); joint ventures (corporate and contractual) and protection and exploitation of intellectual property.
In the field of private equity investment Daniel has acted for funders and recipients on a range of funding transactions in different business sectors and is regularly involved in making presentations and delivering training to raise business awareness of how the legal aspects of equity funding can be managed successfully.
